Students Who Took Courses Under the Shining Star Program Prior to the Spring 2025–2026 Semester

Prior to the Spring Semester of 2025–2026 under the Shining Star program, students who have taken at least one course but have not yet graduated and will retake the course in the Spring Semester of 2025-2026 Spring Semester under the Shining Star program “Previous Implementation Guidelines (Old Rules)” apply.

For students who have taken at least one course under the Shining Star program prior to the 2025-2026 Spring Semester and have not yet graduated, but will be taking a course again during the 2025-2026 Spring Semester, the following guidelines apply:

A) Attention to Undergraduate Students Who Have Taken Courses Under the Shining Star Program Prior to the 2025-2026 Spring Semester

Application Requirements

  • Students who are at the beginning of the 5th semester of their undergraduate studies at the earliest may apply to the program.
  • At the time of application, the cumulative GPA must be at least 3.00/4.00.
  • Applications must be submitted in person to the Department/Program Chairs during the graduate course registration period.
  • During undergraduate studies, at least 5 graduate-level courses must be completed with a grade of CB or higher.

Application Procedure

Applications must be submitted in person to the Department Chair of the department in which the student is enrolled.

Application Dates

Applications must be submitted within the graduate course registration period.

Note: Participation is possible starting from the first week of classes.

B) Attention to Candidates Who Have Completed Their Bachelor’s Degree and Will Enroll in Thesis-Based Master’s Programs Under the Shining Star Program

  • The enrollment right is reserved and may be used in subsequent semesters.
