The issue with our university’s electronic services infrastructure has been partially resolved, and the Institute of Social Sciences website, e-Institute, and Student Information System (OBS) are now accessible.
Our students can log in to OBS using their username and password. However, the issue with logging into OBS via e-Government persists; this access method is expected to be restored shortly.
As part of the course registration process for our students for the Fall Semester of the 2026–2027 Academic Year;
Students who have previously selected courses but have not finalized their course registration must log in to OBS to finalize their course registration,
Students who wish to add courses must complete the course addition process through the system,
All course registration and course addition procedures must be October 9, 2026
is required.
Applications for the Doctoral Qualifying Exam will also remain open until October 9, 2026. Students experiencing system issues during the qualifying exam application process should must log in to the e-Institute system by October 9, 2026, and report the issue via the “e-Institute System Issues” message category.
The graduate application processes conducted through the e-Enstitü system are proceeding smoothly. In addition, the forms required for advisor assignments can be generated through the e-Enstitü system. Students who have not yet been assigned an advisor can create the relevant forms via the e-Institute system and submit them to the Department Chairs to which they are affiliated.
Students who have not yet been assigned an advisor, are not in the thesis phase, and have not yet applied for graduation are not required to select the Thesis and Specialization Area course at this stage.
However, students who are in the interim reporting period or who will be applying for graduation are required to select their Thesis and Specialization Area courses.
To ensure our students do not experience any inconvenience, it is strongly advised that they complete course registration, course addition, and related application procedures within the specified timeframes.
