Scholarship Programs

Yıldız Technical University (YTU) does not offer scholarships to international students.

YTU accepts international scholarship students throught Turkiye Burslari Scholarship Program.

Turkiye Scholarship students, placed to a program offered under the Graduate School of Social Sciences, should deliver the following documents to the Graduate School of Social Sciences.

 

Required Documents for Turkiye Scholarship Student Registrations

 

  1. Diploma, a copy and notarized translation

Bachelor's degree diploma and a notarized translation for MA program registrations.

Bachelors and Master degree diplomas and notarized translations for PhD registrations.

 

  1. Equivalency Certificate

Diploma Equivalency Certificate from Council of Higher Education (YÖK) is required for diplomas received from a country other than Turkey. Students who do not have the equivalecy certificate are granted time according to the date determined by the Council of Higher Education.

 

  1. Transcript, a copy and notarized translation

Bachelor's degree transcript and a notarized translation for MA program registrations.

Bachelors and Master degree transcripts and notarized translations for PhD registrations.

 

  1. Turkish Proficiency Certificate or Exam Report and a copy  

Turkish Proficiency Certificate is required to register to a program offered in Turkish. TÖMER Certificate in C1 level issued by a public university in Turkey or Turkish Proficiency Certificate in C1 level issued by Yunus Emre Institute is required to register to a program offered in Turkish. Students who do not hold the required Turkish proficiency level study at TÖMER for one semester or two semesters.

 

  1. English Proficiency Exam Report  

 

  1. Passport and a copy of the passport bio page

The name on all documents submitted for registration must match the name on your passport. If your name or surname has changed, please bring a legal proof.

 

  1. 2 passport size photos

Your photo must be taken within the last 6 months to reflect your current appearance. Please write your name, surname and the name of your program behind your photos.

 

  1. Student Visa and a copy

 

  1. Signed Scholarship Agreement from YTB and a copy

 

  1. Invitation Letter from YTB

Printout of the Invitation Letter from YTB, sent via e-mail with the extension turkiyeburslari.gov.tr

 

  1. Residence Permit and a copy

Students who do not have the residence permit are granted time according to the date determined by the Directorate General of Migration Management. In order to complete their registration, students are responsible for delivering their residence permit and a copy to the Graduate School of Social Sciences.
