Course Substitutions

Students; who transfer from other universities or who were expelled from the university or who have already taken courses as a guest student may substitute a maximum number of two courses (minimum grade of BB or 3.00 out of 4.00 is required) in place of the elective courses offered at the relevant program.

To make a course substitution request, students shall apply with a petition to the relevant department along with the course curriculum of the course/s taken at the other university, within the six months from the date of registration to a program at Yildiz Technical University.

Course substitutions should be approved by the department and the Graduate School Board.

Conversion table, approved by the University Senate, is used for converting the grades of different grade scales.
